Who We Are
Bridging the Gap of Northwest Forsyth County is a nonprofit ministry of Bridges Church, dedicated to serving our community in Jesus’ name. Since 2015, BTG has provided spiritual, educational, and material support through Bridging the Gap Backpacks, which fights food insecurity, and Inspiring Hope Learning Center, which empowers children to break the cycle of poverty and reach their full potential.

Inspiring Hope Learning Center is a Christ-centered nonprofit dedicated to empowering students through education, mentorship, and holistic care. We partner with families and the community to help children grow academically, emotionally, and spiritually—building a foundation for a brighter future.
Our Ministries
The purpose of the IHLC is to increase the success of our students and help them become all they can be through a Christ-centered holistic program which includes tutoring, mentoring, discipling, introducing the students to new ideas and possibilities, building relationships with them, their families, and their school., and helping them discover and live out God’s plan for their lives. The IHLC is an afterschool program for elementary and middle school students, but it is much more than that – it is a catalyst for real life change in the lives of the students and their families.
Bridging The Gap Backpack Program’s mission is to provide nutritious meals to children in the Old Town area who are struggling with food insecurity.
